The Chase
Front row every night. Hands up, tears down, journal full. I measured God by how much I felt — and I felt a lot. For a while, it worked.
The Abide Movement
I spent years measuring God by goosebumps. Randal Lee here — this is the story of what happened when the lights went down and I had to learn to remain.

The story
Front row every night. Hands up, tears down, journal full. I measured God by how much I felt — and I felt a lot. For a while, it worked.
Then came a Tuesday with no worship band. No lights, no crowd, no goosebumps. And I realized I had built a faith that could not survive an ordinary week.
John 15 wrecked me. Jesus never told me to chase Him harder. He told me to remain. Fruit was never something I could manufacture — it was something I received.
Now I live attached instead of amped. Quieter, slower, deeper — and honestly, more alive than any conference high ever made me.

The message
“Remain in me,
as I also
remain in you.”
John 15:4
A branch does not strain to produce grapes. It stays connected and the fruit shows up. That one truth undid my performance, my burnout, and my need for a stage to feel close to God. It is the spine of everything I speak on.
Speaking
Naming the difference between an emotional experience and an actual encounter — without shaming anyone who loves both.
Building a faith that holds up when nobody is watching, nothing is happening, and the playlist is off.
A practical walk through John 15 for people tired of white-knuckling their spiritual life.
For pastors, worship teams, and student leaders who are producing moments while running on empty.
